Cement kilns are used to produce cement clinker, which can be divided into dry method and wet method. Metallurgical chemical kilns are widely used for magnetic roasting of lean iron ore in steel mills and oxidative roasting of chromium and nickel; supporting high alumina ore in refractory plants; roasting clinker and alumina in aluminum plants, and roasting chrome ore and chromium powder in chemical plants. Lime kilns are used for roasting active lime and light roasting dolomite in steel and ferroalloy plants.

Production Process:
The process flow of the production line for producing ceramsite is: feeding system → calcining system → gas treatment system.
The sludge in the silo is transported by the feeding system to the shaftless screw conveyor, and then enters the rotary kiln through the shaftless screw conveyor. Since the cylinder rotates slowly at an inclination angle of 3.5%, the material in the cylinder moves from the high end (feeding device) to the low end (unloading device) along the axis of the cylinder while the cylinder rotates. The natural gas burner is installed on the kiln head cover of the rotary kiln (discharge end). The high temperature gas generated by flame combustion is fully exchanged with the materials from the kiln tail, and flows from the kiln head (low end) to the kiln tail (high end). Heat is transferred to the material by convection and conduction, and the wet material is dried and calcined during the movement. The generated waste gas enters the waste gas treatment system through the exhaust pipe at the kiln tail cover. The calcined high-temperature material enters the single-cylinder cooler, and is transported to the next process by the belt conveyor after cooling.
