The Description and Function of the Rotary Cooler:
In industrial production, it is often necessary to cool high-temperature flue gas to a suitable temperature range in order to treat it. Especially in the metallurgy, cement and power industries, the exhaust temperature of industrial kilns is as high as 300 ~ 600 ℃, even thousands of degrees Celsius, and the working conditions are extremely unstable, which brings great difficult to the bag filter of the latter stage. An air cooler is a device that uses air as a cooling medium to cool the process medium (heat flow) to the required temperature (final cooling temperature).
Rotary Cooler Working Principle:
Cooler (lime cooler, cement cooler, magnesium cooler) work principle : In the natural situation, the slope of Cooler cylinder is 3.5% to 5%, keeping low-speed rotation. The material is feeding from end of Cylinder (high side), circular lifting plate keeping the materials scatter lifting and moving down. Cooling material is discharged from the low end, and preheated air is sending into the rotary kiln for calcinations.
Rotary Cooler Features:
In general, air cooling is more economical than water cooling. Compared with water cooling, the rapid development of air coolers is mainly due to the following three reasons: First, the rapid development of industry has caused a large increase in industrial water consumption, and there is insufficient water supply. To a large extent, it solves the problem of industrial water supply in water-scarce areas. The second is that it has a higher economy. Even in areas with abundant water sources, under general conditions, air cooling is more economical than water cooling. The third is the requirement to protect the environment. If the enterprises close to the river use river water for cooling and discharge, it is itself a thermal pollution of the water source. The rise of the river temperature will destroy the ecological balance in the river. If the cooling equipment leaks, it will cause pollution to the river more serious. Air cooling reduces water pollution in industrial areas and improves environmental quality.
